Ayisha now lives in NYC!

Houses are expensive in Seattle. In Santa Barbara, if it makes you feel any better, even a rat hole is upwards of $700K. The average price is $1.3 million for a regular one or two bedroom home. It's sad really. Even in NYC, you can get a house in the outer boroughs for under $500K.
